How to Use the Myoscraper

The Myoscraper is classed as an IASTM tool which is often used in physiotherapy to help reduce chronic pain. On this page we have shown you the most common uses to help you deal with conditions such as:

Plantar fasciitis
Reducing DOMs (Delayed Onset Of Muscle Soreness)
Reducing soft tissue and muscle tightness
Tennis/Golfer's elbow
Achilles tendonitis
Neck pain/lower back pain

Myoscraper Video Library

1. Apply an emollient such as our Muscle Ease Massage Oil. Adding some kind of oil/cream/gel is a MUST to avoid damaging the surface of your skin.
2. Start with gentle strokes up and down on your desired muscle or trigger point keeping the Myoscraper at a 20-30 degree angle.
3. Massage the surrounding area if needed.

The area may become red which is OK. It may become painful but it shouldn't be more than a 5-6/10 on your pain scale.
